
Nori Sushi and Grill is a Japanese restaurant group based in the Midwest, founded by Steve together with his sister and brother-in-law. Their family's restaurant journey began in the 1990s, when their father immigrated from Fujian, China and worked his way up in the industry. In 2005, he opened his first restaurant—laying the foundation for what would become a multi-generation family business.
Raised in restaurants, Steve chose to follow the same path after graduating from college. In 2022, the family opened their first Nori Sushi and Grill location. Just a few years later, the brand has grown to eight locations, serving local communities with a modern take on Japanese cuisine.
