JOB SUMMARY

A fast-growing data-driven software company that provides an intelligent dining and ordering system for full-

service restaurants seeks an experienced and highly qualified Junior Digital Product Manager who has a

demonstrated background in Bachelor’s degree in Interactive Design, User Experience, Industrial Design, or a

closely related field. Candidates should have 2 years of experience working as a digital product designer in the

restaurant or hospitality industry, 2 years of experience in creating product illustrations and prototypes with all kinds

of design software (including Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.) to present product workflow, 2 years of experience

in developing the visual concept of POS systems and payment systems for the restaurant or hospitality industry, and

among others. Occasional domestic and international travel requirement for attending conferences, lectures, training

courses or business meetings, if requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

To apply for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interactive Design, User Experience, Industrial Design, or a closely related field;
• 2 years of experience working as a digital product designer in the restaurant or hospitality industry;
• 2 years of experience in creating product illustrations and prototypes with all kinds of design software (including Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.) to present product workflow;
• 2 years of experience in developing the visual concept of POS systems and payment systems for the restaurant or hospitality industry;
• Excellent usability testing and user research skills, including analyzing users’ behavior to develop a user-friendly interface;
• Demonstrated ability in motivating cross-functional colleagues to work as a team and inspiring them to deliver their best work;
• Knowledgeable and familiar with creating roadmaps, measuring performance, keeping a pulse on the customer, and taking acceptable risks to maximize the benefit for customer and business;
• Proficient and experienced in various project management and design tools, including, but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Axure, WordPress, InVision, Wireframe & Prototype, trello and JIRA;
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to attend conferences, lectures, training courses, or business meetings, if requested;
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

JOB DUTIES

• Direct and oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of projects to meet business requirements concerning the restaurant industry including POS systems, online ordering systems, waiting systems, and loyalty programs;
• Collaborate with CTO to define the product strategy and annual roadmap for product release;
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to inform product development and improvement;
• Participate and contribute to user testing and recommend methodological and procedural changes; 
• Manage multiple projects and fulfill product requests while adhering to tight deadlines;
• Lead and inspire a project team of engineers and designers to develop services and products, ensuring the successful delivery of projects;
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues, including Design, Data Science, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Service, to improve processes and ensure project success;
• Communicate with business clients to understand their needs, get feedback, and constantly improve customer experience;
• Analyze business requirements, competitor offerings, and current market solutions to stay informed and maintain updated knowledge;
• Regularly visit restaurant clients to conduct interviews and develop solutions that meet their business requirements, ensuring their customers’ satisfaction and improving overall customer experience;
• Occasional domestic and international traveling to attend conferences, lectures, training courses, or business meetings, if requested.

Annual Salary: $101,525.00
